This 100% compostable clear lid for 48 oz three compartment fiber boxes is made from PLA, a corn-based resin made from plants grown in the USA. This item is 100% compostable in 2-4 months in an industrial compost facility. It is freezer safe, not microwavable and can be used for foods up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
